Why a pet travels instead of you

Health apps have a structural problem: they stand across from you. Reminding, scoring, warning. That relationship is hard to sustain, because nobody wants to be managed every day.

So we flipped it. Instead of “you should walk more”, it's “it's already at the next corner — coming?” Same activity, but one is a task and the other is a relationship. What actually brings people back the next day has never been data and badges. It's the feeling that someone is waiting.

That's the whole design: you walk, and a companion lives the trip you're powering for it. It meets people, complains about prices, writes clumsy poems, remembers what a street sounded like. The further you walk, the more places it can reach — and the more of the story you both own.

Why the name

Zoobo is claw plus step: its paws, your steps, one road. The Chinese name Zoobo is built the same way. The overseas release runs under a separate brand, Zoobo — what you're reading here is the Chinese edition.

Where we are now

Live on the App Store and as a WeChat Mini Program, free to use. Multiple cities across the world, several companions, a town with its own residents, plus letters, a feed, voice chat and duo trips.

It's early. More cities, more town activities (tarot, music, light workouts), and deeper duo play are all coming. We'd rather ship slowly than cover thin content with a longer feature list.
